About the President:
David Petfield, President and Founder of Petfield & Associates, brings more than 38 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and tax preparation.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY, graduating in 1985. He graduated first in his field of study, earned Summa Cum Laude honors, and was inducted into the National Honor Society. He also participated in a variety of collegiate athletic programs during his time at the university.
In 1984, prior to graduation, David accepted a position with IBM Corporation in White Plains, NY. During his five years with IBM, he served in several accounting and financial analyst roles, gaining valuable corporate finance experience.
After his success in the corporate world, David chose to pursue his entrepreneurial goals and founded Petfield & Associates in 1990. Since then, he has grown the firm into a respected and trusted provider of bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services throughout the region.
